The Dirty Swamp is a twin-mode fuzz. Switch between Standard and Harmonic Octave Fuzz mode with the 2nd footswitch.
In standard mode, the fuzz is thick, but controllable. Dial down the Fuzz to get a pushed amp drive, and adjust the bias to get some ‘sag’.
Engage the 2nd footswitch, and the fuzz mutates into a spluttery, harmonic octave. – Best results are around the 12th fret, like with most octave fuzzes.
Turning back the Bias gives you some cleaner octaves, which also works great when paired with other drives and fuzz pedals.
